Description
OK, on the heels of the very successful pocket slip and clip slip, we have went a bit further. More and more knifemakers today are offering a small caping / skinning knife. These knives work fine in a sheath but many folks are looking for a way to carry them in a pocket. So, we have developed a Front Pocket Clip Slip for fixed blades. Although after looking at them, I discovered they would work equally well on a belt or boot since this clip is designed for versatile heavy duty use. With this Fixed Clip Slip you can bury the slip in your front pocket while leaving the handle easily accessible and out of danger.
We contracted these ourselves from Europe of Tuscany vegetable tanned leather and are extremely proud of them. Since we have two sizes they will not fit every knife perfectly, but we simply can’t have an inventory of 30 different sizes. Many knives will fit in both, just depending on how much knife you want in the leather and how high you want it to ride.
This large size is perfect for many knives such as the Arno Bernard Scavenger Series, Hess Caper, etc. Or if you want your knife deeper in the sheath it is great for the GEC H20 series or similar. The opening is 1.3″ and the depth is 5.2″; but the thickness of your particular knife will make a difference. If we have the knife in question in stock, just call and ask if this will fit.
For free shipping on this item, it must be in the cart with a knife purchase.
You will get one selected slip in a plastic sleeve. Knife not included ;>

4 out of 5 Excellent Functional Pocket Sheath

Excellent quality and construction coupled with a very well thought out design. Holds an ~7′ overall knife perfectly without getting in the way, even when bending/sitting/etc. This sheath is ideal if you want to carry a small fixed blade in lieu of a folder for EDC use.
With a BRK Featherweight Fox River and a White River M1Caper, a solid thumb’s worth of knife is left sticking out, just enough to make the knife easily accessible while still being discrete.
My only criticism falls to the pocket clip itself. While its high arch and robust build make it very versatile for non-pocket roles, it’s at risk of being an impromptu paint remover if you’re not careful when leaning on a car or moving a motorcycle… Not a serious issue, just a word of caution!
