5 out of 5 #44 Buffalo Jack Autumn Gold

    (verified owner)

I’m normally not a fan of brass bolstered knives, but the polish and the synergy with the autumn gold jigged (checkered) bone was just beautiful. One of the prettiest knives I’ve seen. Pulls were a solid and snappy 6, tight construction, one of the best GEC have produced: highly recommended! And as always, Mike’s service is the best.

    5 out of 5 brassy

I purchased this knife based on looks and wanted to keep as a part of my collection. The brass is very shiny and the bullet shield goes so well with it. The first time I held it it felt unbelievably comfortable. The squared endcap fit into my palm nicely and I had a good grip on the knife. It is no longer going into my collection but rather becoming my new user. The brass should also patina well with the blades and bone color. Thank you CK for a fantastic knife and quick shipping.

Having already received the cocobolo #44 from early reserve, I had a pretty good idea that this one would be about the same. Well I was blown away for a second time. I couldn’t believe that this one didn’t sell out quick like the other or I would have missed out. Perfect in every category this is an ideal companion to its wood handled brother. IMHO the best patern and execution from GEC so far. I hope they do one with a spear main blade at some time in the future. Great customer service from CK as expected.

5 out of 5 Another Great GEC Knife

    (verified owner)

I absolutely love this knife. I’m new to collecting GEC knives and have found the quality of their knives to be excellent. I also enjoy buying from Collector Knives.net as they are a great company to do business with and at fantastic prices.

GEC hit a homerun here! Perfect fit and finish plus the balance of the Gunstock pattern just lends itself to be a perfect user. I love it!

5 out of 5 More than I expected....

    (verified owner)

This is my first personal purchase of GEC product through CK. I have been introduced to the knife collecting realm by my brother who has been avidly pursuing the hobby for a while. The GEC pieces he has obtained through Mike and CK have always shown to be wonderful works of craftsmanship. I can only add that the Northfield 44 Buffalo Jack in Autumn Gold Jigged Bone exceeds my expectations. Detail and finish work is exceptional, the brass bolsters and bullet shield really look superb and the polished blades exhibit a fantastic pull. Had an issue initially trying to conclude my on line purchase, and Mike got right back to me to take care of matters via phone. Hats off to Mike and CK for a great experience!

5 out of 5 great knife

    (verified owner)

Generally my preference is single blade knives. That said this knife is sweet. The usual great fit and finish. The Brass elements are a welcome variation. I got two and will use one to see how the brass ages.
