5 out of 5 Nice slip!
Lee (verified owner) –
I have a GEC 72 wharnie (3.875″) in mine and the top of the knife is about 0.5″ from the top of the slip when in the pocket. You could easily go to a 4″ knife, but anything larger would leave a bit too much of the knife exposed for my taste. As far as the slip is concerned, the leather is good quality and supple although I intend to put some mink oil on the underside of the bend to keep it from drying out and cracking. The 72 fits nice and secure with no slop which is the way I think most would prefer. Stitching looks tight – at least at this point. Careful where you store it or you’ll be picking up paper clips etc. as the magnet is pretty strong. Don’t think you could do any better for the price!

Question
Mark Thomas –
Hey Mike, what size knife can these accommodate ? Are we talking case teardrop or Trapper ?

Mike Latham –
It is pictured with a #77 Barlow (3 5/8″). But I can see it fitting a bit over 4″ depending on how much you want sticking out the top. Wide enough for about anything.

It’ll take a Lionsteel Bestman 13 quite nicely. That’ s about the max.

Question?
Would these hold up to a 3 layer Swiss Army knife without stretching out too much?

Mike Latham –
No, that would be too thick for these. It might work, but not without some stretching.

5 out of 5 Magnet Leather CK Slip
tylerg12 (verified owner) –
I love the slip. It’s so easy to clip on/off the pocket, and is extremely secure when clipped on the pocket. It also looks very good, and it’s about the best price I’ve found for any clip slip.

5 out of 5 Better that the Northwoods magnetic slip !
Twilight One Arm Biker (verified owner) –
I had to buy this slip and compare it the the discontinued Northwoods magnetic slip. This CK Italian magnetic slip is a better, simpler design and it holds up a 4″ folder. This slip takes up less room in your pocket. No more fumbling for your slip. Snatch your “tip up” folder in one second. 100% home run ! The price is perfect and $10 less.

5 out of 5 Magnet Italian Leather Slip
mbkr (verified owner) –
I don’t use slips very frequently and bought this one because I found it interesting. Its well made. Nice leather. The magnet is pretty strong. Not too strong and not weak. Just right. A Case Tribal Lock fits like the slip was made for it. This slip will see some use.

5 out of 5 Quality item.
gary72slaw (verified owner) –
This slip is very nice.. it provides a nice alternative to belt carry or pocket carry.
The quality is 5 stars. The magnet seems to do it’s job quite well. Would like to have a few different sizes and different materials. This model is more of a “dress” item verses EDC, still, overall, this works for me.. . ((con; a wee bit pricey)

5 out of 5 Excellent Option For No-Clip Knives
Eli Chaps (verified owner) –
Very well made and at the price point there’s nothing there to complain about. The magnet works well, being strong enough to stay in place in denim pockets but still easy enough to pull free when you want to.
Fits my Case Mini Copperlocks (and similar sized Case knives) and my Buck 501 nicely. I’m sure it would accommodate a larger/thicker knife but I suspect that would also stretch the leather so I’d want to be committed to that before using it for such.
Very pleased and I have no doubt I will be buying another. Now if only Mike could get them in more colors… 🙂

Perfectly fits a Buck 501 and looks good. A perfect solution for knives without a clip.

Question
bikerector –
Do these have a belt loop on the backside or is the CK showing on the belt loop? I’m just trying to figure out what I’m looking at as they look well made.

Added another picture; I didn’t make it very clear. They are a strong magnet closure that works great for a pocket slip without the damage of a clip.
