5 out of 5 GEC Northfield DNA All the Way

It may say “Schrade” on the blade and handle badge, but it is a top line GEC folder all the way: fit, finish, blade centering. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to use it because it has a really strong resistance to pull making it some what hard to open either blade. Nice addition to collection. BTW, CollectorKnives are serious about your order and getting it to you post haste.

5 out of 5 Hard use slipjoint

This slipjoint is a bear to open and close. But it is very well built and seems like a real woodmans tool. This knife makes you feel like a frontiersman

5 out of 5 This Beauty is a Beast!

I was looking for a robust trapper design and this GEC made gem, based on the #23 pattern, really fits the bill! The fit and finish is near perfection and at par with the recent GEC knives I have purchased. The only difference in this 10+ year old knife is a fairly strong action/back spring which did not surprise me based on CK’s ratings, and is something I actually preferred in this large bladed design.
