I knew what I was getting with a Lon Humphrey knife and this 3V Kephart does not disappoint. Lon makes some of the finest knives I own and they are real tools designed and built to be used hard. CK service was stellar as always. They are always fast to ship and there if I ever have a question. Top shelf service from CK!

This blade is a monster. Very think stock and 3v makes for an extremely tough knife. They say scandi is a “fragile” grind….not on this knife. I regularly batton through some incredibly hard wood with no rolling or chipping and it remains shaving sharp. This could very well be the sharpest blade I own and it arrived that way. However, it is no slicer but that is not what I bought it for. CK went above and beyond expectations as well. Only thing keeping it from a 5 start rating is the finger guard angle is quite acute. My preference is certainly more rounded.
