5 out of 5 Deja Vu all over again.

This is my second Viper Swayback. The stag version has not left my pocket since I got it a week ago. There is not much more I can add that I didn’t say in my review of it other than the gray oak scales are beautiful. If you don’t have one yet get one you won’t be disappointed.

Great steel for a slip joint. Came very sharp. Love the covers. The raised crowned back spring was a nice touch. Love the swayback design. Glad to see these come out. Fit and finish is perfect. Plan to buy a second one.

5 out of 5 excellent design and quality

This knife is good looking, with great action and really nice fit and finish. This is the second Viper I’ve purchased, and both have been extremely sharp right out of the box and hold that edge well. Highly recommended

5 out of 5 Viper Swayback in Oak

    (verified owner)

I heard some good reports on this knife from CK and Viper…. I have always enjoyed the pattern so I placed an order with Mike…. I have been 100% impressed with the knife….. The grey oak is gorgeous and perfectly fitted… The M390 blade is wicked sharp….. This is a wonderful knife in all aspects… It is one of the nicest knives that I have purchased in a long time….

    5 out of 5 Nice

    (verified owner)

This knife feels good in my hand. Not too big and not too little. Very nice strong snap and well-centered blade. I have the stag version of this and I feel like they did a better job with the wooden scales. The stag scales were fairly dull looking and I had to polish them to get a white powdery surface to look better. These oak scales really pop! Overall, this is a very nice knife.

    5 out of 5 Impressive

    (verified owner)

This is my first slip joint in a collection of 10 pocket knives. Still in the honeymoon phase but this makes the EDC rotation everyday. Great slicer, stout work knife and a beauty overall. The pocket slip is equally impressive. I bought the Mnandi about the same time, that one is a “thinker”, the swayback jack is a “doer”.

5 out of 5 Love this knife!

    (verified owner)

This knife is great. Action, fit and finish and the oak handles are amazing. But the star of the show is this amazing warnecliffe blade in M390 steel. The blade to handle ratio is perfect so you end up with highly useful EDC blade in a small, light and really attractive package. Highly recommended. Here it is next to a Spyderco Spydiechef for comparison (a great dual EDC combo).

5 out of 5 Stunning beauty

    (verified owner)

The grey oak handles are stunning. Absolutely beautiful. Amazing fit and finish. Even the back spring is polished. Sharp, centered, well ground blade. It’s a great size as well. Just one oddity, the half stop is about 5 degrees past 90 (I.e., noticeably past half way open). Not a big deal. Love the knife.
