Notes:
5 out of 5 High fit and finish

A note immediately: this handle scale is not a traditional carbon modulus as in the picture, but rather a forged composite layup. It has a more metallic, galvanized appearance than the typical black thatch weaves so if you are looking for that look, you may be disappointed.
Out of the box, the blade is very sharp and tight. i gave it a bit of lithium to loosen it up a smidge.
It is not as big as reviews i have watched made it seem, but i have bigger paws than most.
This is my second Viper by Fabrizio Silvestrelli and i don’t think it will be the last – i’m a fan of the brand and his designs in particular

This is really a nicely made large folding knife. The carbon fiber is high quality and contoured. the finishing throughout is top notch with some classy subtleties like a polished crown on the blade and spring/lock bar. The blade is ground finely with a nice high satin. The height and elegant leaf shape makes for a very efficient slicer. Quite large, it is, but a super classy joint!
