I’m really impressed with this knife. Looking at the dimension specs it seems like it would be thicker and heavier than it is but the tapered tang takes a lot of weight out of it. The grind on it is good and sharp, great cutter. The polished finish is very nice, like you would see on buck knives. Very high value knife.
The sheath leaves some to be desired and I think this is where the costs were cut to get the great value. Functional but not special. The scales on mine don’t match the best but it’s far from horrible. It’s not a top shelf item but squarely in the high-value department with a good design and good execution, especially for the money. I’ll likely have another Viper fixed blade in my future (really like the looks of the Gianghi too).
