4 out of 5 Not your typical Case

The knife came pretty sharp out of the box (just a little touch up and it was fine) . the knife is a great example of Case’s quality and meets all the standards one would expect from them however this ISN’T your typical Case knife. First off , the shape. It is an early attempt by Case to join the “contemporary” styling movement and personally I feel that the shape resembles something one might find at a flea market or a convenience store display…….it just looks cheap (my personal opinion) . Now, that being said the knife itself performs great. The size is perfect and the bone scale coloration is amazing. The knife locks up pretty good with a very slight play in the blade after lock up but it’s nothing to worry about. Over all I would say that it’s certainly not my favorite case for EDC it isn’t one that’s going to stay on my dresser, it WILL get used. And I’ll say that if you can get past the over all shape of the knife you’ll be happy with the purchase.
