5 out of 5 Excellent refined work knife!

The fit and finish on these is excellent and the action is butter smooth. The size is relatively large and capable but carries much smaller than expected due to its thinness. For extended cutting a slightly thicker handle would be a little better, but the ergonomics of the handle shape are among the very best on the market. My only gripe is that I can’t get my knife perfectly centered. It’s close and doesn’t interfere with action or function, but it bugs me a little. Otherwise, I absolutely love the design, size, clean finishing, action, and carryability. I highly recommend this knife for anyone who wants a refined user that can serve as EDC or more rigorous tasks. Viper has been seriously impressing me with their recent offerings. If you think the aesthetics might appeal to you, don’t give it another thought. Buy it! It will not disappoint. I literally have hundreds of quality knives from $80 to $800, and this Fortis has been in my pocket since it made it to my mailbox. Well worth the price.

5 out of 5 Love it!

I’ve got quite a knife collection and I’m a perfectionist. The Fortis is my new favorite knife, Viper knocked it out of the park! I absolutely love the design and materials. The attention to detail is stellar. This thing is perfect, I can’t find any flaws anywhere. I wasn’t familiar with Viper and this was my first. I was so impressed that with them I just ordered the Italio!

5 out of 5 Viper Fortis Titanium

    (verified owner)

This knife is made of quality materials. The scale and frame lock are titanium, the blade is Bohler M390 steel and the pivot hinges on bearings.

The handle is on the small side and allows a firm grip, however, the blade is on the large side. When folded it carries well, the clip is not a deep carry style.

I describe the knife as certainly a heavy duty hard use configuration, but styled to be a large gentleman’s knife.

It flipped a little slow until I oiled the pivot bearings, now it flips fine.

If the looks of this knife appeal to you, I doubt if you will be disappointed when you receive it.
