To my way of thinking, this Hess Tiburon is very finely designed. The balance is perfect, a little back in the handle with the leather handle perfectly contoured and finished with the most practicle solid pommel i own. The brass hilt is most comfortable with no excess, just the width of my forefinger.
For a versital blade design i favor this broad er spear point with the completly convexed blade with no microbevel. Strong edge and very sharp penitraiting edge.
Although i am attached to my red birdseye maple Bark River Sperati with higher corrosion resistant blade, this Hess is superior in fit finish and overall design.
