Factory description: With Storm, Viper introduces his collaboration with the Rick Hinderer a famous American cutler.
The thickness of titanium Liner along with the G10 and Carbon Fiber handle scales make this knife a hybrid locker: rigid and strong as a frame-lock, but well-finished and comfortable as a liner-lock.
Another Storm feature is the H.M.B.S. (Hinderer Modular Backspacer System), which allows the user to place the preferred backspacer, among other options available.
Thanks to Storm compact dimensions and you can take it with you every day.

This knife was on my wish list quite awhile. I don’t know why I waited so long to order, it’s perfect for me. Anyone who is on the fence about this knife or company should give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

5 out of 5 Every day carry took on a new meaning!

I own a fairly large number of tech folders from some of the leading manufacturers such as ZT and Spyderco, so when I purchased this Viper Storm I was sceptical. But anything with M390 has a nice ring to my ears so I took the leap of faith and bought the knife. It is now my EDC of choice and I expect it to remain so. At first I thought it might be too small but I am seeing that it is just right. It is smaller than my 0562 but it has a more solid heft than my 0770CF and it fits my large sized hands well. And absolutely no blade stick. It’s smooth and locks up nice thanks to the bearings in the blade. I love how Viper inserted the carbon fiber panels into the construct. Hinderer design and M390, it’s all good!
