While the blade shape may look a little unconventional, it is incredibly user friendly for every day tasks. A great slicer. The fit and finish is great, the steel alloy is top of the line, and the lock-up when open is right on. No wiggle or wobble open or closed! I liked it so much that I bought another right away.
