The blade is a fantastic shape and came very sharp. Grinds are even and the satin finish is very nice. Blade is slightly off center but can be adjusted. The detent system is awesome and fun to play with. The Bocote wood isn’t as figured as I would like but is none the less pleasing. Feels good in the hand and pocket. Overalls a great knife.

This is a first-class knife. Traditional looks with modern construction and materials. It carries small for a nearly 4″ traditional due to the nice shape and light weight. I couldn’t be happier. Now it needs a big brother …

There’s not a lot more that I can add to what’s already been said in the other reviews. They are spot on. For me the choice of M390 steel was the main reason that made me purchase this knife. I often wish that GEC would use some of the super steels in their knives. The CK Viper EZ Open proves that a quality traditional EDC knife can be made for a reasonable cost. Kudos to CK and Viper!

Buy this knife and you won’t be disappointed. The quality is excellent and it’s sharp. Perfect size for edc and feels great in the hand. I plan to get a micarta one soon.

The pictures on the web site doesn’t do justice to this gem. The quality is far above what I anticipated. Great feel in the hand, opened or closed. Blade centering is perfect and mechanics are smooth, what is typical in a higher priced knife. Keeper that moves to the top shelf.
