    5 out of 5 Dan 2, it's for you...

I was in the market for a slip joint knife and came across this beauty while doing my usual research. The aesthetics of this knife immediately caught my eye and I liked the fact that it looks like a front flipper, even though it’s not. I was torn between the Dan 1 or 2, but ultimately settled for the 2’s more utilitarian blade shape. Definitely doesn’t disappoint. The knife looks just as good in person. The action isn’t buttery smooth, but I expect that from a non-locking knife. I’d rather have a bit of friction than stitches on my fingers. Great prices and service from CK.

Received the knife last week and the pivot was so tight I had to disassemble and adjust the inner nut. after which the knife became smooth as glass. I used it this weekend and like it so much I will be ordering the Bocote!! Excellent carver and great for EDC , just use caution as it has no locking mechanism!!!
