*Our opinion:  The Viper effort on this run as compared to their entire catalog is 8.  Flipper effort is 1 on a scale of 1-4 with 1 being smooth as silk and 4 requiring wrist action.  Detent is a 3 on a scale of 1-4 with 1 being lightest.

Notes: : Some call it a linerlock, but it is essentially a framelock with an overlay. The framelock is a bit sticky until broken in; possibly due to Ti/M390 break-in.  Also, the screws under the clip are a bit obtrusive.  Frame is anodized blue Ti, Overlay is carbon fiber.

    The right size and the action is easy enough and positive enough. The blade has stayed sharp through a week of cutting boxes, cutting sandwiches and the like. I’ve had them all and for the money this is one of the finest knives on the market . Puts to shame a lot of the old standards. Fit and finish are excellent.
