The harvest bone handles are deep and beautiful. Much, much nicer than even the photo. Blades are sharpe and everything aligns perfectly. Smooth operation. The spey blade ever so slightly can move up and down. Less than half a millimeter. No problem. All else is perfect and soundly assembled. Never had a sowbelly. But this just fits like a glove in your hand. It may very well be the best feeling knife in my excellent collection. It’s really hard to believe it until you hold it. Gorgeous folder! I became acquainted with Schatt and Morgan knives when it became hard to buy GEC….. CK has Schatt and Morgan knives from around 2009….. This is the 4th one I’ve purchased…. All are very nice knives…. Quality is excellent and the manufacturing is spot on….. This particular knife has 4 blades that are nicely fitted within the handle….. The sowbelly handle fits my hand nicely and provides a comfortable grip…. If you are looking for a nice traditional knife from a bygone era, you will enjoy Schatt and Morgan….
