I got my knife the other day. Blade favors one side slightly. A few rough spots on the back from the brass. I will work on it too smooth it out some. Despite those two issues, it is still a fantastic value for the money. The green micarta looks great. It is a thick handle but I love it. I have a big hand. The brass makes a nice accent. CK is accurate, a few fit n finish issues but worth every dollar and then some. Add it to your collection.

As other reviewers have said, at this price it’s a gem. It is a solid build, and the micarta has a lot of character and contrast. The Blade holds an edge well and the shape is great. Can’t go wrong for a working knife.

Excellent fit and finish for a $35 knife. Like the seller says in the video, the backspring is recessed. My backspring is recessed from the end of the handle to about 1/3 of the way down when closed, but is very slightly recessed when open. The tang and backspring match evenly when opened. The blade centering is almost perfect.
Like another reviewer said it feels good in the hand, and the grip is excellent.
Opening and closing was very gritty, so I applied Rem DriLube as I do on all my pocketknives. The DriLube only lasted about twenty opening and closings until the blade movement became gritty again. So I applied one drop of Finish Line Cross Country bicycle chain oil to the tang, and voila problem solved. Chain oil is thick and durable. General bicycle maintenance oil may also be effective, but I believe the chain oil is especially durable.

As other reviewers stated, this is a good knife with personality. I couldn’t give it five stars because it has a few flaws that I personally don’t care about: the blade is not centered and the metal on the handle has a few rough spots (nothing major).
The knife has a great blade/steel and a beautiful handle that feels good on the hand, so for $35 you can’t go wrong.

This is an economic line of knives, but man do you still get a lot of knife for only $35. I agree with the Opinel feel of the knife. The action is a little gritty and the blade isn’t centered. Despite all that, I love this knife. This knife has a lot of character. The look and feel of the knife is very unique, and is only complmented with the extreme slicability the knife comes as. I am a fan of the D2 steel. I find myself fondling this knife often. Great lock up for a slip joint. The micarda handles almost have a wood feel to it. If you like a knife with character, that’s made with good materials, comes scary sharp out of the box, an absolute joy to fondle, and coming in at a spectacular price point, I would highly recommend this knife, regardless of the small flaws. Also made in Italy!

Out of the box, the blade was a little wobbly and the action gravelly. The vendor disclosed that the knife was built to a price and might be rough in some respects.
Flushing the pivot with WD40 and lubing smoothed it out nicely. The gentle application of a Knipex plier to the pivot pin took the play out of the blade.
In size, the Plow falls about halfway between the Case Sodbuster and the Sodbuster Jr. The blade came wonderfully sharp out of the box; with my meager sharpening skills, I doubt I could improve it. The thick handle gives a good grip, but makes a bit of a lump in the pocket, at about the upper limit of what I am willing to carry. But the blade is too nice to let it languish in a tool box.
I like the look and feel of the micarta handle. All in all, the Plow is an excellent value at thirty-five bucks.

I’m a pretty old guy, and i well remember carryin Case Sodbusters of all flavors as a young man some 50 or so years ago… These knives are a pretty good copy of these sodbusters with some minor details, which i see as improvements… The first is the handle material… The wood and the micarta are a definite step up from the old, original sodbusters… The finish is good, but or exquisite… Mike hit the nail on the head here in his video review… The last improvement is the D2 steel… An excellent steel that is easy to hone… I’m carryin one of these little gems in wood in my dungarees now… I cleaned up the joints a bit and lubed the pivot, and it is just as snappy and easy to open an any other slip joint knife… It’s sharp as a razor and wont break the bank… This $30 gem is far better than the old knives by a wide margin, i think…
