5 out of 5 Maserin Pitbull in Blue anodized scales.

This is a large knife made of quality materials. The Scales are anodized aircraft aluminum, mine is Italian blue. The blade is made of Bohler M390 and the pivot hinges on bearings instead of washers.

This knife exceeded my expectations after receiving it. Great craftsmanship is apparent. The blade is stonewashed and when opened there is a small finger guard at the bottom and top, they match.

The handle is very ergonomic and comfortable. There is a clip that mounts with the rear glass breaker/nut.

Included with the knife was a black nylon carry sheath and an extra clip. Also included was a tool to remove the glass breaker/nut.

This knife has flipped very smooth and fast from the first time out of the box.

The more I use this knife the better I like it.

      Hi Lee,
If you mean the new Steel Will Cutjack C22-2BL in 3.5″ M390, I happen to have one (and the cheaper D2 version as well). I like that knife too, it is slimmer and lighter and is a liner lock like the Pitbull. The Pitbull is thicker and fuller in your grip but very ergonomic. The Pitbull is more of a heavy duty construction, in my opinion. If you’re on a budget and can’t get both right now and slightly bigger suits your taste I would get the Pitbull first. Like you said both have quality materials in them and are fine knives. If you decide to get it, I look forward to your review and what you think about it-Johnny

Compare this knife with the new Steel Will Cutjack Urban flipper… almost the same price for 7″ OAL & 3″ blade (M390) and absolutely NO style – just blah. Makes this Maserin look like a real bargain!
