This is a great knife. Thin enough behind the edge to sharpen up nicely, which I did. Action, weight, pull, ergos, all good. The white scales are surprisingly attractive, and the fit and finish meet my standards easily. But understand, I view the knife more from a utilitarian point of view than a collector point of view. It may meet the collector requirement, but I don’t pay attention to that once a knife meets the “reasonable for the money” threshold.

5 out of 5 Lavorando EDC!

This is my first Maserin knife but will not be my last. The fit and finish is excellent and the D2 blade comes hair shaving sharp and is pinchable. For what this knife costs you are getting bargain and then some. For those of you who don’t speak Italian “Lavornado” translates to “Working”. Oh yeah, the knife fits a CK large slip like a glove!

4 out of 5 I Like, but...

There is some good and bad with this knife. The good: Like the size, the style, the weight and specially the blade shape. The not so good: It came not centered, there is a slight gap in the back spring and the Micarte is very sharp on the edges and needs to be beveled…. it is not comfortable until you clean up those edges. Even with all of that I still like this knife. Had to spend some time working on it but so far, it was worth the trouble.
