I ordered this knife for my father for Christmas, he has always carried a original Uncle Henry stockman, but after many years of use he was in need of an upgrade, this knife is the same length as the Uncle Henry, but has quite a little more girth, and is surprisingly light weight for its size.
He has always been a fan of three blade knives because of their versatility, but those are hard to find, GEC makes some beautiful examples but he prefers a stainless knife for every day pocket carry, so the Lionsteel two blade was the best option I could find, and it definitely did not disappoint! I guarantee that if he can get 30yrs+ out of his original knife, after looking at the build quality of the Lionsteel, it is of heirloom quality for him.

I was looking for a very specific knife for a gift. It had to be stainless steel, wood covers, two blades (clip and sheepsfoot/wharncliffe), and under 4” closed.
There’s honestly not a ton of options in that category. When I saw the BestMan I knew I needed to try it. I’ve always had such great success the handful of times I have purchased from Mike.
The olive wood covers were absolutely gorgeous and beautiful figured. The knife is rocksolid, built like a tank, and very pleasing to handle. It has a pleasing walk and talk and the edge was keen right out of the box. I’m very honored to give it as a gift.
