    5 out of 5 Good Mid-Size Lockback

Let me say up front that I’m more partial to traditional slip joint pocket knives, being an older guy. However, if you’re looking for a decent, reasonably priced, thumb opening locking knife that is not made in China, this is a good one to consider. It’s solidly built, with steel liners, a lock back, ambidextrous thumb studs to open the blade, durable G10 handle scales, and D2 blade steel. The blade opens smoothly with the thumb stud, although it is a little tight being a new knife. I have no trouble with one handed opening, but have to use two hands to close it. However, I’m not really an expert with this type of knife and don’t spend much time practicing my opening and closing. The size is comfortable in my medium size hand. I like the spear point blade. Overall, this is a nice, reasonably priced locking knife. It’s worth a look.
