This version of the Dom is a smooth and very attractive knife. I didn’t know if I’d care for the handles based on the website photos, but they are very well executed and attractive. The knife is slim and light, disappears in the pocket. Pull is quite a bit lighter than other CK01s I’ve had, like a 3. Not as tightly “locked” when open but still safe as long as you remember it’s a slipjoint, plus there’s the half stop. Overall a great buy, I hope they offer it in olive drab micarta hint hint.

I had been eyeing the Dom’s on CK for some time. Finally had to pull the trigger when the slim came out. The one I received didn’t have flaw that I can find. The pull is smooth and about perfect. The beautiful sheepfoot blade was the sharpest factory knife blade that I have ever had and centered. The knife is very light and thin, hard to tell you have it in the pocket. I see nothing about it not to like.

I love the Doms. Now I have five of them. This slim one is 1.23 oz. which I love. It disappears in my pocket. The walk and talk are very good, but not quite as authoritative as the regular Doms, probably because the pull seems a little lighter. Great move CK!
