5 out of 5 Modern Classic

This is a wonderful folding knife. I like that it looks like a classic Barlow but with an modern twist. The pop of the blue anodized titanium bolster immediately sets it apart from more traditional knives while the micarta feels at home regardless of the time period. Every bit of the construction is crowned or has a radius which makes for a very smooth feel in hand. The half stop and lock up are very nice but as I’m newer to slipjoints I don’t feel I can rate them yet. I think for the money this is one of the better slipjoints available right now, and it also looks great in the CK leather slip. Awesome classic design with modern materials.

5 out of 5 Great Knife!

    (verified owner)

I’m far from an expert on knives but I do know what I like and this is one great knife. I’m not the biggest fan of the blue bolsters but, they set it apart from everything else. The micarta handles are cool looking and very easily gripped. I doubt that they will slip when wet. The blade came very sharp and the spear blade is perfect for my EDC knife. All in all, this is a solid, good looking and very functional knife for EDC. I find myself putting it in my pocket slip rather than one of my Case knives. I was pretty much carrying my Sod Buster Jr or mini-trapper but this has replaced them.
