5 out of 5 White Carbon Fiber Shuffler Clip Jack

The “white” is more “silver”, which I like. I was a bit concerned that “white” would discolor and show wear more quickly than other covers but…now I see that the really “silver” has a deep clear smooth texture at the surface so I’m confident that this cover can take a lot of abuse and still look beautiful.
The M390 steel, while not traditional, is razor sharp out of the box and will stay sharp for a long time. One of my favorite non-trad steels.
The half-stop is crisp and snappy, another plus for me. The fit & finish is nice and the overall appearance is sleek and pleasant on the eyes.
    I made a good purchase!

    5 out of 5 Amazing!!!

I bought the Lionsteel Clip Shuffler in white cf. I had high expectations for the price and materials used. Once in hand it exceeded my expectations. F&f is great. Blade is sharp and centered. No voids in the cf. No gaps anywhere. Pull was exactly as advertised. Great knife. If you like traditional knives then you can’t go wrong with this one

There really isn’t much to say, the fit and finish of this knife is excellent. I’m really surprised it was sold at this price point.

5 out of 5 The New Traditionalist

When I first saw the Roundhead reviewed on YouTube by Stassa23, I knew I had to have one. While I have an extensive collection of “tactical” knives, I fell in love with this type of knife as a child.

The new Shuffler does not disappoint. Lionsteel listened to the critiques, and made improvements to about the only area of the knife that needed improving on BOTH models. So do be aware complaints of the Roundhead being thick behind the edge or lacking a sharpening choil were addressed on the second run. There is really no difference between this knife and the Roundhead other than the blade shape, which is fine. The liner is rounded, which allows for a bit of deviation in tolerances without it being at all noticeable. It also creates a softer feeling knife in hand.

The knife is easily deployed by simply pinching the blade to open, but the nail nick is not completely superfluous. In fact, it helps create a small edge to lift, even with wet fingers! It’s very well thought out and executed. However, this leads to perhaps the only con I see, to facilitate easier opening the lockup is slightly on the weak side. So a bit of extra care is warranted if using this knife in a hard fashion. With its design, size and M390, you will want to put it through its paces.

This has not been an issue for me in the slightest, but many people not used to slipjoints aren’t used to a knife that can close if pressure on the spine exceeds the pressure on the blade! I think I learned my lesson in this regard sometime in 1964!

As usual, the choices for finishes are extensive, and each one changes the character of the knife. I chose the white CF, which gives this traditional Barlow style knife an ultra modern twist, it’s at once American as apple pie, and Italian cool as gelato. I have very few knives that non-knife people will comment on, but this is one.

In summary, this modern twist on the Barlow style knife is stunning in appearance. The clip point blade is beautifully ground and perfectly executed. The precision of the fit and finish is quite evident and impressive for a knife in this price range. If you’re at all curious or are just tired of the same old tactical knives and slip joints, give this one a shot. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. I’m already signed on for the Dom, an will probably have one or two more of each!

5 out of 5 Great modern traditional

I purchased the Spearpoint with black carbon fiber and was so pleased that I ordered the clip point Jack with white carbon fiber as a contrast. This new run has a stronger pull over the first run. It’s about a six vs a five. Came very sharp and the blade is satin, not polished. F&F is perfect, and the walk and talk is crisp and snappy. As stated by others the scales are more silver than white and the texture is more polished. The blade can be pinched open without using the nails. Also the clip point blade protrudes a bit more out of the blade well more making it easier to open than a spear point. Very pleased with CK service and packaging of the product is equal to none.

Agree on all points with previous poster. These are amazing knives, sharp, good looking, good in your hand. Great steel, good handle choices, etc. The white carbon fiber, though a bit shiny, amplifies the modern tradition look- a silver bullet. The clip point is well designed, very sharp out of the box, a good complement (design wise) to the overall straightness of the knife. I’m a fan, and can’t wait for the Dom!
