I recently reviewed the “Beerlow” version of this knife, which is essentially the same knife with an additional bottle opener / pry bar blade.
The things that bothered me about that knife mostly don’t exist with the single blade version.
Yes, when the blade is closed, the backstop sticks out a lot, but my problem with the two blade version was that the second blade dug in to your hand when holding it with one of the blades open.
That’s not an issue with the single blade version.
I also don’t have any issues with pinching with the single blade version.
This knife fits very well in the hand and is very comfortable to hold when opened.
It has exceptional LionSteel fit and finish, and a very sharp “super steel” right out of the box.
Overall I feel like this knife is on par with some of my other slipjoints that cost more than twice as much.

This is my first Lionsteel knife, and the first time purchasing from CK.
The knife is everything I expected, beatiful fit and finish. I love the nail nicks on both sides of the blade and that I can pinch he blade at the top to open. The walk and talk is good.
CK has a great reservation system, and the purchase and shipping uneventful!
