Overall, the knife is fantastic. Love the sheeps foot blade: great size, nice even grinds, well finished, and perfect centering. The etch is small and well done. The fit and finish is amazing for a non-hafted knife. The micarta is very well done. Walk and talk is a little different, but not bad. Pull is perfect for me. I don’t have any complaints.

I own the Roundhead, the Shuffler and now this Dom. Just like it’s predecessor, the Dom doesn’t disappoint. Great fit and finish, premium steel, centered, good action – I’m happy! I’m not sure if it’s the kind of Micarta or just how Lion Steel finishes it, but it’s not on par with what GEC uses on their slipjoints. Don’t get me wrong, It’s still nice, but it just feels a bit ‘cheaper’ – a bit like comparing nice carbon fiber vs laminate…
still super happy with this knife.

I wasn’t thrilled with the finish on my micarta at first. But a few minutes with sandpaper & p1000 bodywork paper & now I’m loving the micarta. It was simple to do and now the knife looks and feels great.

This is a great working knife, and still, nice enough for dress. I will get the ebony as soon as possible.
Fit and finish is good, as is the action. The only critique I have is the OOB sharpness was not great . It took very little to make the the laser it is capable of being.

The natural micarta is on the lighter side if comparing to GEC. A little more orange if you add oil. Nice looking stuff though. Next to the ebony dom with oil on the bottom, stock on near bolster.

What a pleasant surprise, a very nicely made modern slip joint. Plenty of work has went into these addressing any sharp edges. The pull weight is nice and snappy, blade centered, micarta looks awesome. And the size of this is perfect.

This is my 4th Lion Steel and it doesn’t disappoint. Sharp out of the box and M390 holds an edge for a long time. Satisfying snap. The sheepsfoot is a box opening machine. In my opinion, these are a great value.
