I planned to use this, but purchased the natural micarta to use so I can save this one for nice. This knife is great quality and has unique wood handles that represent a piece of history. It’s perfect in size to perform work. It fills the hand hand well and it’s sturdy and has two very useful blades. Made well. I recommend this knife.

My example is a beautiful knife in every way. Outstanding walk and talk. Absolutely smooth action. Thin enough behind the edge to get effortless free-hanging phone book paper cutting with a Spyderco Sharpmaker and strop. Not many knives will do that for me. I usually have to go to the stones. But this knife is so great, I wanted to keep it as pristine as possible. I like one blade slipjoints, but something about this knife compelled me to give it a try. I’m glad I did. Both blades are usable. There is a je ne sais quoi quality about the wood – about the ergonomics. Really cool. This knife will fit equally well as a trusted EDC or a cabinet queen, depending on the preference of the owner. If I haven’t been clear, I really like the knife.
