I’m not a huge fan of pen knives so I didn’t really want a 62 for a long time but they grew on me. I love red jigged bone and this did not disappoint. The wharnecliffe blade is really nice. The fit and finish is very good. The only minor disappointment is there isn’t much snap on the main blade during closing. It pops open but a little sluggish coming down. I’m hoping it gets better.

This knife checks all the boxes for me … Fit&finish, walk&talk, comfort in both picket and hand are all top notch. I’ve carried it every day since I received it and find myself taking it out just to look at throughout the day. The main blade is a bit thin for bull work but as an edc for food prep, packages, etc it is nearly perfect.

The first 2020 GEC knife is a beauty. I really like the new shield. The pull is nice – lighter than most, but not wimpy. Both blades have a nice snap when closing. The blades are sunken into the handle and do not cause discomfort when using the knife. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful and practical knife. I have already ordered a another one to set aside, as i have already started using this one.The petite size, in conjunction with the Wharncliffe primary blade when accompanied with a midsized fixed blade, is all I need all day everyday.The fit and finish, walk and talk,is perfect.
