I have thin, flexible nails. Hard or even medium pulls are a safety issue for me. As are half stops, most of the time.
This is a large, two bladed knife I can open easily even with a glove on, and close one handed if I need to. It’s ergonomically wonderful. Somehow the closed blades don’t interfere with my grip. The mechanical action on this knife is uncannily, satisfyingly smooth. Everything is well fitted and finished. My best GEC.

Another beautiful knife from GEC. pull is kind of light for a knife this size I thought anyway. Fit and finish are what I have come to expect from GEC …….GREAT! Everything is smooth opening and closing pretty good snap. I’m pleased with this knife and will no doubt get one or 2 of the Northfields!
