The bail and button hanger were custom made by a local company and all were assembled then plated to last a lifetime. It added significant costs to the package, but is authentic to the time.

This knife had me up in the air for a while, then I went ahead and purchased. The chain was something different, but I have grown to really like the knife. I have taken to wearing button on suspenders. The chain attaches perfectly to the button next to my right pocket. The suspender leather attachment keeps the chain securely in place. I like the slightly textured feel of the micarta. The edge was sharp but needed a bit of touch up as there were grinder marks present. A little stone work and a bit of stropping and everything was as it should be. This will definitely be a user. As usual, Mike’s service and pricing was outstanding!

The #15 in green micarta was perfect in every way. Its simplicity but expert craftsmanship made a great introduction for me in the world of traditional knives. Now I’m hooked and want more.
The micarta is smooth and very well made. Back springs are perfectly ground without gaps. The action is fabulous with a half stop. I just can’t stop handling/touching it. I love this beauty.
