    5 out of 5 Flawless #78

I purchased this #78 in smooth white bone as I have a serialized #78 in red jigged bone from 2014 and did not want to use it as I want to pass it on to my grandson when he comes of age. This #78 SB is every bit as beautiful as my 2014. The back springs are more mangable than the nail buster 2014 version. The blades are perfectly centered, sharp with zero wobble, the scales are highly polished and transition well into the nickel bolsters. Half stops are solid and back springs are flush in fully opened or closed positions. GEC executed this knife in their usual high quality fashion. I like the #78 pattern and rate it 5 stars. I strongly recommend you purchase this knife especially if this is in fact GEC’s last #78. Buy them while they last. One last word, thank you Mike for your excellent customer service!

I am very happy with this knife. Everything about of was perfect for me. The pull weight is perfect and its a great size knife. Also I am very satisfied with how fast it was delivered. Overall I am very happy with the knife and very glad I purchased it from collector knives.

    GEC 78 American Jack

This is a great knife. I am very happy with my purchase. If I was going to knit pick, I’d want a firmer pull, better bolster to cover transitions, and non-sunken pins. All-in-all, I’m very happy with my purchase.

4 out of 5 Classy Knife

I love smooth white bone so that’s why I picked this one up. I feel everything is perfect except for the transitions from the covers to the bolsters. There are slight gaps on the top bolsters where the bone meets the bolster. Doesn’t bother me much at all though. everything else IMO is up to snuff with GEC’s standards.
