5 out of 5 If you like big, this is a big, beautiful knife.

I knew this was going to be a big knife but I had no idea how big. Luckily, for a woman, my hands are large and I have no problem holding this knife. I agree with what everyone else has said about it: the fit and finish is perfect, jigging is beautiful, the blades are really nice, it’s heavy and very solid. You get a lot of value for what you pay for this knife. A real winner!

5 out of 5 Great Kife

Beast of a knife. I have another #23 single blade GEC trapper and a Texas camp knife and this thing is I think heavier than both of those. Really great fit and finish for a production knife. Bone jigging is fantastic. She’s a beauty.

5 out of 5 Better than expected!

Ordered this knife worried a little that it wouldn’t be a well finished as some of the smaller models. Was I wrong, this a beautiful beast. Mine is still made across the board, and as a collector of the original Redington knife I’m super pleased with the look and feel of this knife.

5 out of 5 a long wait, worth it

    (verified owner)

The 23 trapper is a very solid, heavy knife, up tp every task I’ve put it through. The pull on both blades is enough to develop muscles you never knew you had, giving me great feeling of security while using.it and finish is a 5 out of 5 with a rich dark coloring one the bone jigging. I think the knife has lived up to the hype that preceded it.
