5 out of 5 So good

Just so happy with this knife. This is my second bull moose. My daily user is a jigged bone. This Sambar Stag is for special occasions. Love the size and once I got used to the handle—I love the feel.

This is my first Great Eastern Cutlery knife. The stag is amazing. The quality is superb. Being able to pick your knife is really nice. CK had lightning fast shipping and great packaging. This will definitely not be my last GEC knife and it will also not be my last order from CK.

4 out of 5 CK is Correct

This is another beautiful knife from GEC. The only thing I don’t like about my example is the walk and talk which seems below the norm for GEC. The spear blade is a little gritty and does not close authoritatively. It’s good enough to use, but not good enough to bring joy.

Flush pivot area with warm soapy water & toothbrush/Dry/Spray with WD-40/ 2 drops mineral oil at pivots. Then snap will improve & have smooth action.

It has been a while since I’ve been this excited about a knife. My example has surpassed what I thought were high expectations, enough so, that I already ordered one with different covers! Satisfys my Trapper itch also with two full length blades. I appreciate being able to pick out the stag I desired, well done CK, both covers excellently matched! Really 9.5 out of ten stars.
