5 out of 5 Great Knife

I’m never disappointed in a GEC product and I think this one is top notch. My real review is CK and Mike Latham what a great guy cares about his customers and love knives as much as anyone I know. Keep up the good work friend.

5 out of 5 Beautiful knife!

The wood, brass bolster, and end cap with their respective rat-tail & stamped logo really set this knife apart. As much as I like the simple elegance of my Tidioute Ebony, this Cocobolo Northfield calls out to me for CF & CE-ing several times a day. I also appreciated Mike’s communication throughout GEC’s delay during their annual Rendezvous.

5 out of 5 Incredible!

GEC’s usual excellent fit and finish. This knife is pocket jewlery. Pocket knife perfection in all respects. I have a few gunstock jack knives from various manufacturers but this is the cream of the crop!

My #44 Cocobolo finally arrived today. The sneaker trip across the border at Sault Ste Marie and then the CanadaPost trip to Kitchener, Ontario was barely endurable. ? I bought two – one for me and 1 for my pal. Both knives are flawless – we gushed as we fondled the knives looking for gaps, rubs, and bumpy transitions. None found. What a perfect design for an EDC. What a beautiful piece to keep as a collector. I’ll probably keep the Cocobolo safe and carry the #44 Stag when it arrives. Thanks, GEC. Thanks, CK. Thanks, Mark (my Sault Ste Marie importer).

The knife is extremely attractive. The combination of brass and cocobolo give it an “old” look with modern technology. A quality looking and feeling product. Another great job by GEC.

The knife from GEC is as good as expected. I want to comment on the customer service from Mike and his crew. Because of a delay on the satin bladed model I ordered Mike sent 3 separate emails keeping me up to date and apologizing for the delay. And, hand wrote an apology on the invoice. I sincerely appreciate his devotion and will continue to be his customer. Anyone can sell a knife. It’s the people behind the company that count.

I appreciate it Alan. I am a knife nut too, and it aggravates me when things don’t go exactly as planned.
