What can be said that hasn’t been said already? It’s a great knife. Mine had a lighter pull like these were advertised, but in my opinion it is due to two things: a long blade that provides more leverage, and the shape of the spring.

The knife is beautiful. The Ebony is consistent grain and very dark. This gets a 3 star though due to the action. Opening and closing is rather anemic. I have to apply pressure to the blade consistently through the opening process. The spring seems to be too weak so the walk n talk is nearly non-existent. It has improved a bit with oil and use, but not much. Nevertheless, the knife is beautiful. I keep it more as a collectors piece, but it’s not GECs best effort.

This is one large folder. The ebony is a rich black, it is some of the best ebony I have seen to date. The fit and finish is as good as it gets with smooth scale to bolster transitions. The blade is perfectly centered and exhibits no play whatsoever. The walk and talk is as one would expect from a large folder. The pull is just right for me. The blade clicks firmly into place. The half stop has the slight overtravel that Mike showed in his video. The closing snap is a little on the soft side, but still snaps home satisfactorily. The only other knives I have seen with this same snap have been the Oregon Trappers. The double pulls and saber grand give this knife a unique look. The blade was sharper than most of my GECs out of the tube. This is one of my favorite knives! The service from CK was outstanding as usual!

It’s a well built beefy knife. I hate to beat a dead horse, but they should have made it a lock back with a spring this weak.

I like the knife. Larger than all GECs that I own. Fit and finish is super. The pull is on the weaker side on my knife. Overall thumbs up!
