You need not worry about scratching, denting, dinging, dropping or soiling the scales. Such mishaps only bestow character upon an otherwise ordinary hue. The knife wants to be carried not displayed.
The wharncliffe’s opening to half-stop is worthy. Once set fully, there’s no chance of rocking or pulling back. Push the topside linerlock tab sideways to close. The snap delivered makes you wish your other folder blades were as healthy.
Before penicillin, gangrene and amputations were commonplace. The razor blade’s barber’s notch allows a one-handed opening with the belt loop, the back pocket or the apron string. The blade has the right amount of pull for safety, stability, and snap but watch your fingers anyway.
The screwdriver tip is tapered beautifully to fit all those screws you pre-stripped with your fatheaded flathead.
Don’t shy away from the shackle. It improves the looks and allows for a quick, one finger pullout from the coin pocket of your jeans. Installation is easy with heavy duty needle nose pliers. Slip the shackle flat side up over the closed tips and gradually open the pliers until the gap is wide enough to fit. Squeeze closed from the outside with flat nose pliers.
I keep pretty knives in display cases. I keep this safety cone color in my pocket.
