Ordered an Ebony Otnat. This is very comfortable knife. It’s roughly the same size as the Viper EZ Open Spear which I previously purchased. Choosing between these two knives was tough! I got the EZ Open first, which is a joy. But delighted to have the Otnat as well.
The knife has a secure, authoritative snap. Blade came very sharp. I always sharpen knives when I first receive them. So I had the wet stones all set up, tested the sharpness of the blade to see how much effort was going to be required, and then promptly put the sharpening stones away — no need! Very sharp right out of the box.
The ebony is smooth, polished, and has a very clean grain. Nice to have in the hand. The whole knife is a pleasure to use and hold. Love the inclusion of a lanyard. Makes the knife easy to retrieve from a pocket slip. Winner!

This a superb modern slip-joint. The finish is spot on and the materials are really nice. I wish I had bought this when it was first released. The nail nicks might be unconventional, but they are very functional and give this knife an excellent pinch-open action. I liked this so much I immediately bought a second one. This time a clip point version. Get one before they are gone!
