I recently bought the Bulldog Sowbelly stockman and could not be more pleased with it. It is beefy and strong. There is no blade wobble and blades are centered and nest perfectly. The scales are beautiful MOP with no cracks or imperfections. For those that are not familiar with the Cuttin’ Horse sowbelly and think that the open blades are at an unusual angle to the handle, you are right. But, it is that angling that makes them somehow feel more natural and comfortable in use.
To top all this off CK’s pricing is very reasonable for quality Soligen made knives from the past. My knife was made in 1993 and came as pristine as if it was made yesterday.
