Description

OK, on the heels of the very successful pocket slip and clip slip, we have went a bit further.  More and more knifemakers today are offering a small caping / skinning knife.  These knives work fine in a sheath but many folks are looking for a way to carry them in a pocket.  So, we have developed a Front Pocket Slip for fixed blades.  Although after looking at them, I discovered they would work equally well as a neck knife or to simply attach to a bag.

We contracted these ourselves from Europe of Tuscany vegetable tanned leather and are extremely proud of them.  Since we have two sizes they will not fit every knife perfectly, but we simply can’t have an inventory of 30 different sizes.  Many knives will fit in both, just depending on how much knife you want in the leather and how high you want it to ride.

This small size is perfect for caper sized knives such as the Hess Mini Caper, GEC H20 series, or the Arno Bernard Bush Baby Series.  The opening is 1.1″ and the depth is 4.7″; but the thickness of your paticular knife will make a difference.  If we have the knife in question in stock, just call and ask if this will fit.

The paracord does not come with them; but if you request it in the order notes I will send some if I have it on hand.  You will get one selected slip in a plastic sleeve.  Knife not included ;>

5 out of 5 Perfect for Small Fixed Blade Carry

I purchased one of these small front pocket sheaths to go with my new Arno Bernard Meerkat. However, I found it to also be a perfect fit for another small fixed blade I wasn’t pocket-carrying due to the bulky sheath it came with. This little sheath offers 2 great carry options (neck and pocket) and is the perfect alternative to belt carry. I’m going to purchase one for every small fixed blade I own. That the quality is top-notch at a very fair price, is just icing on the cake.

Perfect fit for Rainier Fastpak. Fits nice and snug, but easy to extract. Rides great in the front pocket.

5 out of 5 Perfect fit

Have been looking for a sheath for my Tops knife UTE and this fits it perfectly. I never carry the knife because the sheath that came with it I just didn’t like. Now I carry it every day.

5 out of 5 Second time buying one, a perfect pocket slip

As far as I’m concerned, you probably can’t get a better pocket or neck slip for a small fixed blade than this. Nice sturdy leather without being too bulky, well finished, and attractive. Fits my knife well, which is a modified GEC #15 that I made a new handle for and converted to a fixed blade. Handle is mostly the same, although it is about as thick as a Bullnose or Sodbuster handle now. Nice and snug.
