Description
For many years we did not sell a lot of fixed blades. But the market has changed and the demand, and honestly, a great selection is now available for those looking for great fixed blade knives. Many times these blades come with great sheaths from the factory. But sometimes they either come with kydex, no sheath, or a sheath not worthy of the knife. So we have asked our European leatherworker to make us some great fixed blade sheaths to fill in the gaps.
This medium sheath is a general purpose sheath for most medium sized knives. It fits a wide range of knives from the ESEE 3 model to most Arno Bernard Grazer and Predator sized knives. The opening is 1.6″ and depth is 6.5″. We have placed eyelet rivets for leg tie-downs and a well placed eyelet to keep over forced blades from cutting thru the sheath. If you get it and it doesn’t work, send it back – all you lose is the shipping costs.
You will get one selected slip in a plastic sleeve. Knife not included ;>

Great value! Perfect fit to slide into my right pocket for me ESEE-3. I love its slim design and holes for my paracord. The right was out of stock so I grabbed the left and I’m happy to own this beautiful piece of work! Thank you

great price, great craftsmanship. really is you are no really into the whole plastic sheath tactical craze but want a good sheath at a good price with eyelets that allow you to place leather straps to the eyelets so you can carry it in many positions, even “tactical” positions.

I bought this for a Boye Basic 3 that didn’t have a sheath. It fits perfectly and as an added bonus I can use it with my Mora Garberg. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 Benchmade Puukko lefty sheath - perfect fit
micros101 (verified owner) –
As a lefty, I am surrounded by right handed things that I have to manipulate subtly to get to work. Sheaths are no exception. After a few emails to Benchmade about a lefty sheath that went unanswered, I found myself grabbing one here. The leather is solid, as is the construction. The knife handle fits perfectly, and I am very confident it won’t slip out. I couldn’t say that about the sheath that comes with the Puukko. I will definitely be grabbing a few more for all my other knives that are currently in righty sheaths. Thanks again for giving us this option.

It’s too bad, but most fixed blade knives come with lousy sheets, either super cheap leather or plastic/kidex sheaths that knock the edge off your knife each time you insert or retract. These sheaths from collector knives are super nice, and seem very durable. This is my second one, I bought one several years ago for a 4-in fixed blade. I bought another just now for a three and a half inch fixed blade. The medium sheath is a little too deep, so I attached a paracord fob to make it work. My only wish is that they had a small smaller sheath, maybe an inch or an inch and a half shorter than the medium. All in all, first class all the way.

5 out of 5 A great little sheath

I bought the medium size for my Bark River Drop Point Hunter. It fits the knife better than the original sheath, is smaller and lighter than the original, retains better than the original did even after wet forming, seems to form itself very well without the need for wet forming, and is MUCH more precisely made.
I love it, and I’m glad I bought it.

I purchased this sheath to replace the hard plastic sheath that came with my Mora. Firstly, I traveled to Italy twice on business this year and purchased 5 leather bags belts and wallets while I was there because of their construction and quality, that said this sheath is extremely well made. The texture of the leather is soft but provides more than enough rigidity to hold my Mora firm. I held it upside down and shook it violently but the knife did not budge. The leather is top notch, zero surface irregularities, evenly dyed and stitched to perfection. The sheath has a slim side profile, a generous belt loop and dosen’t bunch when I’m seated. The design includes a center spacer of leather which cradles the knife well, functions to release the knife with constant moderate resistance and serves to prevent the tip of my knife from engaging the bottom rivot, (nice feature). In short, this sheath is designed with the knife user and hunter in mind and based on my experience with Italian leather goods, its worth twice the price being offered here. I highly recommend this sheath.
