This sheath is made from good, heavy leather, is well finished, and is nicely stitched. If you are a Case fan then the Case XX logo is a real bonus. Hard to believe it is priced at less than $5. Mine is slightly lighter than the one shown in the picture, which is not a problem for me. It could easily be dyed darker if that was your preference.
Being horizontal carry it is very unobtrusive and doesn’t interfere or dig in when sitting. I have mine on a 1.5″ belt and I think that is about the widest that would fit. I thinner belt should not be a problem.
Although they are slightly smaller than the specified knife size at 3.5″, both my Wharncliffe mini trapper (6207W) and small Texas jack (62032) work very well in this sheath. They fit very snugly and extend out just enough to grip and pull out.

I’ve been using this small sheath for about a week now and it works really well! I have a wide and thick belt (1.5 in. by .25 in.) and the sheath still fits it well. I’ve been carrying a GEC 71 in it, which is a wider and somewhat lengthy pattern, but it still its snugly, and I suspect it will be even better as the leather molds to the knife. I think it could even hold a three-spring knife if you wanted it to do so.

I bought mine to carry one of my Lion Steel Dom’s, the sheepsfoot blade makes it a little tight , hard to get in and out. On the other hand my 15 TC Barlow’s fit perfectly, Honestly like it was designed for it. And it’s neither too tight nor am I afraid I’ll lose one. Very well made, This is not my first one, last one I carried for almost 8 years, still would work , but it’s a little stretched out now, I gave 3 times as much 8 years ago for the same item I purchased here.
