CK Tuscany Leather Pocket Slip (no shipping fee with knife purchase)

Product Description

We have seen many types and sizes of pocket slips.  This one is the type that seems to fit in the pocket with the least amount of added space requirement and protect the knife for many years.  We contracted these ourselves from Europe of Tuscany vegetable tanned leather and are extremely proud of them.  Since we have six sizes they will not fit every knife perfectly, but we simply can't have an inventory of 30 different sizes.

For free shipping on this item, it must be in the cart with a knife purchase.

You will get one selected slip in a plastic sleeve.

If you select a size instead of "fit", your requested size will be delivered regardless of what knives you list.

I have some COA's (certificates of authenticity) that I bought to offer optionally to those that are interested in that type of thing.  Below is the gist of what the certificate says other than a number and official trademark and consortium stamping.

"This trademark certificates that this leather has been tanned exclusively with natural tannins of vegetable origins and does not contain substances prohibited by law.  Tannin extracts are a fundamental ingredient for the slow tanning process and the quality of its result.  Small veins, wrinkles and imperceptible scratches eventually present on the leather prove its naturalness rendering each skin one of a kind.  Still nowadays, in the heart of Tuscany, our master tanners remain faithful to their century-old  artisan productions, a combination of tradition and up-to-date technology.  the trademark Pelle Conciata al Vegetale in Toscana protects and protmotes these principles."

  1. Outstanding!

Posted by on 20th Apr 2017

The large wide fits all my 3 1/2 inch or longer GEC knives like a glove. Both single and double blade pocket knives are safe and sound. Money well spent on a top quality product. Also, the red one is stunning!

  2. Absolutely PERFECT knife sleeves

Posted by on 8th Mar 2017

I ordered three different sizes of the leather sleeves. They are beautifully crafted and just the right thickness. So supple that the knife nests perfectly without the worry of the leather being abrasive. This will be the only sleeves I ever buy from now on. HOMERUN MIKE

I am very happy with it.

  4. Excellent Product

Posted by on 20th Jan 2017

These slips are made of very high-quality leather and very well finished.
I have one for each of my traditionals.

    Very highly recommended.

  5. Bueatifully made! Worth every penny!

Posted by on 26th Nov 2016

Absolutely top notch. I received one of each size. I should have ordered the wide versions though. The small will accommodate a GEC 06 Pemberton single blade just barely. I just don't have that many small knives. A two blade 06 would require the small wide. The medium size fits my #15 Beer Scout perfectly leaving the bail out to remove the knife easily. The large fits a Case Copperlock or Gec #72. Its a bit narrow for these and requires some squeezing from the bottom. As mentioned earlier these are beautifully crafted and should last a very long time. I would suggest the wider versions for all but the narrowest and thinest knives in your collection. I should also mention that the medium size narrow fits a Beer Scout snug enough to hang the knife from a belt hook with out fear of the slip "slipping" off the knife. You won't be sorry with your purchase of any of these.

  6. Great pocket slips

Posted by on 20th Sep 2016

I get one of these every time I place an order with CK, can't have too many.
I always get the largest size (Large Wide), and usually either red or black.
I just like those colors best. The red weathers very nicely in the pocket to a brownish burgundy color.
Ive tried several other pocket slips, primarily KSF, they are too bulky for me, these CK slips are perfectly sized for most traditional folders up to 4" closed.

  7. Absolutley Excellent!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by on 17th Aug 2016

These slips are amazing. The quality is top notch! Perfect fit...excellent leather....glad I purchased one of each size. These will be my go to slips.

  8. Outstanding Pocket Slip

Posted by on 15th Jul 2016

This is a really outstanding pocket slip. You will not be disappointed. I liked the first one so much, I ordered a second in another size for another knife. However, it would be nice if the CK website listing would provide an option to "fit the knife being ordered" as it does with the economy pocket slips it sells.

A: We did originally have a "fit" option, but it seemed to confuse everyone and they would select it but forget to note a knife. So now we just ask in the description itself that you put in the order notes the knife you would like it to fit. MSL

  9. Very Nice

Posted by on 6th Jun 2016

I am thoroughly impressed with the medium pocket slip I got. The quality is top notch. This one will not be my last.

  10. Adequate

Posted by on 27th Apr 2016

I bought the large wide size in black for my Case Amber Bone large Stockman 00204. It fits quite well and I foresee no issues.

  11. Really Nice Pocket Slips

Posted by on 25th Apr 2016

These are great pocket slips for traditional pocket knives. The photos don't do them justice. My first one was black, size large Wide
(4 1/4" X 1 1/2") for my GEC #99 Wall street. I since bought two more of the same size, red and tan. The red one is "brownish red" rather than the "pinkish" color in the photo. It looks good. These slips have really smooth supple leather, a pleasure to hold. They form to the knife shape right away because the leather is thinner and softer than other pocket slips I have. No need to wet these, For traditional knives these are the best.

  12. High Quality Leather

Posted by on 25th Mar 2016

I just purchased two more slips: small wide and medium. The small wide fits my GEC 22 Magnum perfectly and the medium is perfect for my Moore Maker 5300 Stockman. Thanks!!!

  13. They are great...just got another!

Posted by on 12th Mar 2016

These slips make it easy to take your nicer knives along without worries of any scuffs & scratches, or pocket dirt & debris. Pesky coins (and guitar picks) now stay out of the blade well!

So far have a medium, and now a medium wide. I can fit many of my knives in these two, but may add one or two more sizes down the road.

Nice leather, and the red looks better than the photo.

  14. Great pocket slip

Posted by on 8th Feb 2016

Nice leather, and it adds very little bulk to my knife. Protects the knife and also the things I carry!

  15. These things are great!

Posted by on 3rd Feb 2016

Don't think I can say anything more that has not already been said in prior reviews. These slips are great ... especially for the price. I initially bought two (one medium wide ... in which a Fallkniven TK3 fits perfectly, and a a large wide ... in which a LionSteel Opera fits perfectly). Plan on adding one in each size to make sure I never have a knife sitting bare at the bottom of my pocket!

  16. The best "good" pocket slip i've seen for the dollars invested...

Posted by on 20th Jan 2016

When Mike started handling these pocket slips, i've made them the only ones i buy... I've tried 'em all; and this is the best one as to workmanship and finish that ive seen.... Period... I do business with another well known knife guy from the pacific northwest that handles some "pretty good" slips for twice the price... His are a distant second to these... The only thing i would change is that i would add a "jumbo" to the slip line up which would fit "big" pocket knives greater than 4 1/4 inch; like the old Boker Folding Hunter... Bottom line... The best pocket slip i've seen period... Regardless of the dollars spent; including the Chris Reeve slips... Buy without hesitation...

  17. Just the right size

Posted by on 7th Jan 2016

I needed a more pocket friendly slip for a new knife that came with a very nice slip but is was a monster!
This slip fits my new knife way better and is made beautify.

  18. Quality Product

Posted by on 19th Nov 2015

Probably as good or better than any non-custom leather slip I've owned. The leather quality is very good.

  19. Quality Genuine Leather

Posted by on 24th Sep 2015

I believe in using pocket slips to help protect my high quality knives when being carried...I have ordered a few GEC knives from CK...GEC knives are not knives that I would just outright abuse, rather they are high quality knives and can be expensive depending on the set up....I have order the GEC pocket slips, but did not like them, as they felt a little too course, and opted to try CK's pocket slip....all I can say is that I'm very glad that I did...they are soft and over time, I feel that will conform to the shape of the knife...the prices are very reasonable for such a quality pocket slip...I like the smell of good leather...and I like it even more when it is protecting my knives....it is best to order CK pocket slips with a knife....saves on shipping....plus you can request them to fit them according to the size of your knife...which they seem to do an outstanding job....all I can say is, if you value your knives...invest in CK pocket slips to protect your investments.....!

  20. Smooth Tuscany Slip!

Posted by on 13th Sep 2015

A high quality pocket slip that is very slim. The leather is first rate and construction is right in there with the knives.
