    5 out of 5 A Workhorse!

I have two of the Case XX Burnt Amber Bone 154CM 6254 CA9645 Trappers. This knife is a workhorse! The premium 154CM steel holds a great edge. Fit and finish of the knife were great, although there was a small burr on the edge of the blades that I had to hone off before use. I use this knife daily for my ranch duties and it has never let me down. I like it so well that I ordered a spare if I ever lose the one that is my primary every day carry.

5 out of 5 Hard to believe this is still in stock

Go right ahead and buy this, if you find it appealing but have reservations. It’s like a two-bladed Benchmade 940 but with better blades for cutting, and better handle ergonomics. The 154CM is well heat treated, being tough but holding its edge well in cutting.

I found the swedge work a little lacking, and the polishing job could be better, but this knife is an attractive, unexpectedly burly beast that totally blew me away in comfort and performance.

And the factory grind cut paper, cardboard, and rope easily, so you can use it right away on most anything but hangnails and shaving hairs.
