I’ve been carrying this knife for about a week now, and am impressed enough to write a few words about it.

My prior experience with Lionsteel is with a Dom, which has been in heavy edc rotation for a few years. I work in an office, and while i use my knives daily, the use is light.

Fit and Finish on the “beerlow” is excellent, right in line with the Dom.

I was leery about the Ram’s horn scales, bit these are fitted perfectly to the knife, shaped and chamfered on all the right ways, without adding too much bulk to the grip, or leaving the horn too thin.

The scales are well contoured, and my knife features some natural ridges as an accent around the bottom cover rivet, which i greatly enjoy both for the craft of the thing, and as a familiar grip when retrieving the knife.

Palm feel with the caplifter out is excellent. I do need to grip a quarter inch lower with knife blade out to have a comfortable grip, but this is reasonable as it leaves the fat of my hand well under the half stop, while still allowing me a four finger grip.

I do have a narrow hand, so your experience may differ.

The knife blade was sharp out of the box, and the action strong without being overly stiff.

I should mention that i do not try to sharpen m390 on my own, and will leave discussions of blade geometry, wear resistance, and other arcane properties of metallurgy to those more familiar with that science.

I have used the caplifter several times. Depending on the bottle, you may have to dig in close, but it has lifted clean every time so far.

I have not yet used the pry bar / flathead / wire stripper tools, but suspect they will be sufficient for light use. The pry bar / flathead was a bit thinner than i had expected, but i am happy with it’s form.
