5 out of 5 great knife as usual

Like other reviews, the pull on the main clip blade is quite strong… the secondary blade a bit less. The fit and finish is very well done .. really is too good to use.

Knife is beautiful , well made and almost perfect. If you plan on collecting this knife , the heavy clip blade backspring won’t bother you ,but if your gonna use it a lot , make sure you carry a bottle of oil into the field with you. That pull is a bit overkill , but it’s just my opinion. Shipping and order details were great like always, pleasure to deal with!

5 out of 5 Awesome knife!

Fit and finish are exactly what you expect from GEC, no gaps, perfect centering, and beautiful jigging. In my opinion, the pull on the secondary blade is just right. The pull on the main blade, on the other hand, is very strong. At first it was very difficult and uncomfortable to open, but with a little oil and some practice you begin to appreciate the strong pull. This is the first time using the “early reserve” system and I have to say it has been great. The communication and service is first class!

    4 out of 5 23 Beaver Tail

    (verified owner)

Best jigged wood I’ve seen, fit and finish are great, the backsprings are very close to flush at the half stops. The pulls are the heaviest of any slipjoint I’ve had. Would recommend a belt sheath if you plan on carrying and using. This was my first purchase from CK and the service was top notch.

5 out of 5 Tidioute Jigged Cherry

I have always loved the #23 pattern and this one hits it out of the ballpark. The scales on the beaver tail knife are pretty cool almost looks like a real beaver chewed them out like teeth marks.
