I just recently discovered GEC knives and I could not be happier. It nice to know that there is a company in the U.S.A. that can make such a high quality product for a very reasonable price.
I bought the 44 in Ebony and it is just a joy to use. It comfortable and the way the blades open and close with authority give me a lot of confidence in it as a working tool. Way to go GEC.

A little late for this review, but better late than never as they say. Love the ebony on this one, along with the fact that this pattern packs such big blades for it’s size. I also appreciate knives with the secondary in front of the main blade, allowing both blades to be opened using the same grip.
The fit & finish of this knife are about as good as I’ve seen. Ditto for the mechanicals and walk & talk. I think Mike’s effort rating is spot-on.

Just got this knife, and decided I would carry it! Great blade to handle ratio, the blade is about 1/8” longer than my western outlaw even though the knives are the same length closed. It is also about 1/8” longer than my clip point #15. The spear point blade is actually quite substantial. Fit and finish is just about perfect. Pull is firm but not a problem. Access to the main blade thumb nick could be a little better, but it is still not a problem. Overall, this may become my favorite in a 3.5” knife
After having the knife for a few weeks, I am finding the pull to be getting better, more like the western outlaw, which I think is perfect.

The Buffalo Jack Gunstock is in my opinion one of the best looking knives produced by GEC! The design is outstanding. The fit and finish doesn’t get any better than this. The ebony is smooth and very black like ebony should be. The walk and talk is crisp with a strong, not nail breaking strong, pull. I can’t say enough good things about this knife and Collector Knives.
