The wood, brass bolster, and end cap with their respective rat-tail & stamped logo really set this knife apart. As much as I like the simple elegance of my Tidioute Ebony, this Cocobolo Northfield calls out to me for CF & CE-ing several times a day. I also appreciated Mike’s communication throughout GEC’s delay during their annual Rendezvous.

GEC’s usual excellent fit and finish. This knife is pocket jewlery. Pocket knife perfection in all respects. I have a few gunstock jack knives from various manufacturers but this is the cream of the crop!
