The first sawcut Barlow that I ordered met my expectations in every way. I saw nothing that needed improvement. I immediately ordered a second knife that was every bit as good as the first one.
The scale coloring differs from knife to knife but not side to side. The bone scales of the first knife had dye penetration all the way through its thickness whereas the dye of the second one penetrated only a little bit below the surface, leaving the scale edges light in color.
Both knives are absolutely perfect Barlows in my opinion.

I’ve heard some people complain about the quality of Case knives but there is nothing to complain about with this one. Fit and finish is absolutely superb.
