Schrade knives were the ones many of us grew up with. Schrade brands were always a little more affordable than the premium brands; but great working knives. Now Schrade Cutlery is out of business and the Schrade brands ( Old Timer and Uncle Henry ) are being made in China. We will not carry the imported Schrade knives but have a few original U.S.A. models to offer our customers. Over time these Schrade products will completely disappear and the public will forget what quality products Schrade Cutlery once made.
Remington knives have been proudly made in the U.S.A. for 100 years. Original Remington knives are impossible to find these days, but a strong reproduction market was started for great Remington models in the early 1980's and continues today. Camillus was the primary make of the Remington products until their collapse in 2007; now the Remington future is somewhat questionable. We have a good choice of high quality reproduction Remington knives below; all made in the U.S.A.; and the vast majority made by Camillus Cutlery.
